====== How to Tell When Students Logged In ======

WeBWorK maintains a log of all login attempts, successful and unsuccesssful. To view this log, do the following.

  - From the File Manager, click the caret %%^%% next to "templates" at the top to go up one directory.
  - Double-click on the "logs" directory.
  - Double-click or download the "login.log" file.
    - This text file contains information on every login attempt to your course, including the IP address, browser, and username.
    - As the course progresses, this file will get rather large; eventually it may get so large that your browser hangs when attempting to view it. At this point you can still download it and open it in an intelligent text editor.
